Terms and Conditions.

1.             Definitions.

1.1.         “The Company”, Project Security Systems LTD, the person who is the vendor of the services and or goods to the Customer.

1.2.         “The Customer”, the person contracting for goods and services to be supplied by the company.

1.3.         “Consumer or Buyer”. A Customer. Being an individual who, for the purpose of the purchase, is acting wholly or mainly outside of their trade, business, craft or profession.

1.4.         “Goods”, means all things to be sold by the company to the customer.

1.5.         “Services”, means all services, installs, and repairs provided by the company to the customer.

 

2.             Terms of Booking.

2.1.         Agreement of any work to be carried out by the company shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the Buyer’s acceptance of these conditions.

2.2.         At our discretion, we may refuse services to any individual for any reason and at any time.

2.3.         All bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit, the deposit is always 50% of the total balance, The remaining balance is to be cleared upon completion of the works.

2.4.         If, after the date of any contract made subject to these conditions of business but before payment is made by the customer the list price of parts supplied shall rise, then the contract price shall rise accordingly notwithstanding the terms of any estimate or quotation we may have given.

 

3.             Payment.

3.1.         Following completion of services, payment will be required to obtain the rights to the goods.

3.2.         Any invoices that aren’t settled within 15 days of completion are charged at 10% of the invoice per day, until paid in full.

3.3.         All Goods and/ or services shall remain the absolute and unencumbered property of the company until such time as the company has received cleared payment in full from the customer in respects of such goods and/ or services.

3.4.         The Company shall be entitled to recover from the customer all administrative, collection and legal costs incurred by it in recovering overdue amounts and all sums that become immediately payable under the above clauses.

3.5.         All Invoices excluding deposits are required to be paid upon completion of the works.

3.6          When using online payment wall through stripe The customer is charged an additional fee by stripe for using this feature.

4.             Cancellation Policy.

4.1.         You have the right to cancel a booking without further charge when giving a minimum of 5 days’ notice before the earliest scheduled arrival time specified in the booking details. When less than adequate notice is given, we reserve the right to make late cancellation charges on behalf of Project Security Systems LTD at our sole discretion.

 

4.2          The charges are as follows:

4.2.1       Up to 10% of the estimated cost of the works for cancelling/ rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice before the earliest scheduled arrival time specified in the booking details.

4.2.2       Up to 30% of the estimated cost of the works for cancelling/ rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice before the earliest scheduled arrival time specified in the booking details.

4.2.3       Up to 50% of the estimated cost of the works for cancelling or not showing up with less than 24 hours’ notice before the earliest scheduled arrival time specified in the booking details.

 

5.             The Work.

5.1.         If we find during the work that we need to us additional parts and/ or labour, we will only order additional parts or carry out the additional work if you have first authorised us to do so. We will give you a revised estimate of the cost of the additional parts and any labour and the amount of time we think we will need to complete the additional work.

 

6.             Time.

6.1          The Company will use its best efforts to do work or supply goods within any time period notified by the customer. However, time will not be of an essence and the Company will not be liable for any delays.

 

7.             Loss or Damages.

7.1.         The Company is only responsible for loss or damage to any premises, its accessories and contents caused by the negligence of the company or its employees. The Customer is strongly advised to remove any item of value not related to the area of works for installations or service and in respects of any loss or damage is not the responsibility of the Company, must rely on his/her own insurance.

8.2.         Goods received that are damaged must be reported to the Company within 24 hours of delivery if a credit or exchange is required.

8.3.         Customers are strongly advised to remove all items of value not connected to the area of installations or service since the Company cannot accept liability or any loss or damage to the same.

 

9.             Service Plan. (Wireless & Wired Security Alarms)

9.1.         All Wireless and Wired Security alarms serviced/ and or installed by Project Security systems Ltd are covered by a 12-month service plan which includes Full Parts, labour and Call outs. (This does not include client supplied equipment.)

9.2.         The Following the Company will not be responsible for:

9.2.1       Any issues or Faults that occur through any structural damage.

9.2.2.      Electrical failure not due to the alarm system

9.2.3.      Wear and Tear items will be replaced at cost of the part if the product is still available and not discontinued.

9.2.4.      Tampering of wiring or equipment. (Only Project Security Systems LTD engineers are to carry any works out on any system)

9.2.5.      Fire, Flood or electrical damage.

9.3.         Security Alarms that require batteries are subject to an additional charge for the price of a replacement. (This excludes wired alarms)

 

10.          Service Plan. (CCTV Systems)

10.1.       All equipment CCTV Systems installed by Project Security systems Ltd are covered by a 12-month warranty/ and or service plan labour and Call outs. (This does not include client supplied equipment.)

10.2.       The Following the Company will not be responsible for:

10.2.1     Any issues or Faults that occur through any structural damage.

10.2.2.    Electrical failure not due to the CCTV System.

10.2.3.    Wear and Tear items will be replaced at cost of the part if the product is still available and or not discontinued.

10.2.4.    Tampering of wiring or equipment. (Only Project Security Systems LTD engineers are to carry any works out on any system)

10.2.5.    Fire, Flood or electrical damage.

10.3.       Any/ and or all CCTV not supplied by Project Security Systems LTD will not be covered by a service plan and or a warranty period.

10.4        CCTV Systems do not include parts as part of the 12-month service cover, if a replacement part is needed this will be charged at an extra cost.

10.5        Any Configuration changes after a new install or new service plan has been taken out are subject to extra charges, The company will advise on how the system should be configured based on experience, Any changes for example “Notifications are to much”, “Cameras are to sensitive to movements”, “Pairing the cameras back up to a smartphone or tablet”

 

11.          Warranty.

11.1.       All guarantees for products are provided entirely by the manufacturers and are subject to terms contained therein. Purchasers are reminded to complete and return all warranty cards/documents upon receipt of goods where appropriate.

11.2.       All Systems covered by the Service Plan are subject to a 12-month extended warranty period, this acts in the same manner as the manufacturer’s warranty, but this also includes call outs.

 

11.3.       Warranty exclusions.

11.3.1.    Any issues or Faults that occur through any structural damage.

11.3.2.    Electrical failure not due to the alarm or CCTV System.

11.3.3.    Wear and Tear items will be replaced at cost of the part if the product is still available and not discontinued.

11.3.4.    Tampering of wiring or equipment. (Only Project Security Systems LTD engineers are to carry any works out on any system)

11.3.5.    Fire, Flood or electrical damage.
